22 nd Biennale of Sydney

Artist- and First Nations?led, the 22nd Biennale of Sydney presents an expansive exhibition of contemporary art that connects local communities and global networks.

In line with the title NIRIN, meaning ?edge? in Brook Andrew?s mother?s Nation the Wiradjuri people of western New South Wales, Campbelltown Arts Centre and the Biennale of Sydney will deliver an exhibition that presents and connects international and local artists to South-West Sydney.

NIRIN will feature across six venues: the Art Gallery of New South Wales, Artspace, Campbelltown Arts Centre, Cockatoo Island, the MCA and the National Art School.

Work of Ramin Haerizadeh, Rokni Haerizadeh and Hesam Rahmanian will be presented at the Campbelltown Arts Centre.

Ramin Haerizadeh, Rokni Haerizadeh and Hesam Rahmanian: I Prefer Talking to Doctors About Something Else

Dubai-based artists Ramin, Rokni and Hesam's collaborative work is created using artefacts from the Powerhouse Museum's collection. Incorporating and disorganising objects, the artists make a sweeping arc across themes of grief, the body and healing. The installation also includes video work by Javad Azimi and Hamid Hosseini.

Visitors are also invited to view the collaborative installation process from 2-6 and 9-13 March.
