Each year MoMA's Department of Film collaborates with the Robert Flaherty Film Seminar, an annual seminar series in upstate New York where filmmakers and other arts professionals explore thematic aspects of the moving image. Following the 61st seminar, held in June 2015 at Colgate University, three of the participating filmmakers will present a comprehensive selection of their work at MoMA. Lebanese artists Joana Hadjithomas and Khalil Joreige, who work across genres in photographic installation, performance, documentary film, and narrative cinema, are represented with five films made between 2003 and 2011.
