After having created the «whole steel panel house» , the Fillod factory developped a new type of building based on bent walls. Those buildings were very beneficial, due to their cheap price, their easy transport and setup that could be perforemd by a non-qualified workforce. For a long time this type of building has been used for settlement of bases in both Arctic and Antarctica.
