AFRIKA 010 | Meschac Gaba
From Friday 29 April 2016 through 8 January 2017, Wereldmuseum Rotterdam presents 'AFRIKA 010'. This exhibition contains the most remarkable pieces from the special Africa collection of the Wereldmuseum. This collection, which has not been on show at the museum for many years and was nearly sold, will return to exhibition together with several pieces on loan from other museums in Rotterdam. AFRIKA 010 will present the remarkable and dynamic versatility of the African continent in terms of change and renewal. Emphasis is also given to the connections and cultural interaction between Africa and Rotterdam.
